Akari Noguchi Rice Paper Lamp • Japanese Paper Lantern Lamp • Japanese Japandi Floor/Table Lamp for Soft Ambient Lighting (Akari)

I love this Nogy Noguchi Japanese rice paper floor lamp. It complements my layered lighting beautifully and adds a soft, sculptural glow to the room without overpowering it. I paired it with a Hue smart bulb, which gives me the flexibility to dim the light and adjust the mood throughout the day. Simple, elegant, and very calming.

Cute lamp, not as big as it appears

Lamp is nice and nicely constructed. Looks great and the paper shade was easy to connect. The light bulb that comes with the lamp is horrific. I replaced it with a low wat led with a warm toned and improves the local light and look considerably.

The paper is pretty stiff and ripped at the top when putting it on the frame. Other than that it’s a nice lamp. Do note that the remote doesn’t come with batteries!

Obsessed. (I’ve been wanting one of these for quite a while… Finally gave in.) This is what I wanted for this space! Note: the bulb that it came with was whiter than I prefer, so I went to Home Depot and purchased the amber bulb that I included in my photos. The amber bulb is AMAZING, it makes the lamp exactly what I was wanting. Howwweeverrrr, apparently the remote control only works with the bulb it came with😒. …ChatGPT says there is a way that I could install a smart plug that would allow me to keep the amber bulb if I wanted to mess with all that, but I currently am not interested in messing with all that so I’m just keeping my Amber bulb and will use the on/off switch that’s on the cord. Assembly was easy. Just be patient and careful. There’s also a video for how to set this light up included in this product posting on Amazon.— get it! You’ll love it.

It's a cute lamp, but when I assembled mine, I found that the lamp only stayed on if the switch was manually held down. After doing some research, it seems like they sent the lamp with a cheap, defective part. I chatted with customer service, which was extremely slow, and they said they'd send a replacement switch. We'll see how that goes. Skeptical that it's worth the hassle; I regret not opting to pay more for a higher-quality product.

This is a fantastic dupe. I've had it for over a year now and it's still holding up well. I added in a govee lamp for the ability to change colors and I'm absolutely in love.

This lamp is excellent and provides a beautifully diffused light in my living room. Was able to use my smart bulb with no issues. Had a minor issue with my order but thankful the seller was able to quickly resolve it for me.

Disappointed as it’s not as advertised. The packaging arrived ripped and barely holding together. The shade has a hole in it, and the plug doesn’t even work. Really poor quality overall - definitely not worth the money.

Defective. Bulb doesn’t work. Bulb stuck and I can’t remove it. This means I can’t replace the bulb either as it’s completely stuck.
