Is this suitable for doors for building regs purposes?

Hi, This coating has been successfully tested on a variety of timber substrates to BS 476, Classes 0 and 1, which achieves B-s2, d0 classification.

Would this product if applied to planed wood achieve 30 mins fire rating

It gives Class 0 and Class 1 cover which I believe should give 30-60 minutes if applied correctly-two coats etc. Rawlins Paints give more detail and also have a technical helpline if you need more clarification by actually speaking to someone.

Can i paint my shed with this

This product is for use in interior, dry, heated environments only.

Can this product be used on external structural steel

Zeroflame AquaSteel WB+ is for use on structural steel, but it needs overcoated with Zeroflame AquaSteel WB+ FINISH if being used in external environments.

Expensive, but if regulations demand it…

This stuff is pricey, but cheaper on Amazon than on company site. It’s a bit stickier than regular paint but handles reasonably well. Don’t forget to get a certificate of use - you’ll need the code on the side of the tin.

The perfect fire retardant paint

Satisfied the building control officer, of course! So simple to use, and a lovely finish. Would highly recommend, as can even be used by a novice, and still achieve fire protection.

Will hopefully never find out if it does what it says on the tin, but goes on easily, and covers well.
