LA-CO FLUX 125GRM BRUSH IN CAP

Excellent highly recommend.

Works well

First off the actual paste is probably the best soldering paste I've used for general purpose soldering. It seems to very quickly wick into any joint faster than most and really helps draw in the solder. What I didn't like was the brush applicator which, when pulled out of the tub is just a big gloopy mass because of course it's jammed right into the paste. This means small applications are impossible near enough. To be honest I'd rather there was no brush at all. However, because of the quality of the paste this is a five star product dropping a star for the awkward brush applicator.

Absolutely brilliant

I use this for soldering semi precious stones into beautiful earings and other fun stuff!!I cover my crystals in Copper tape and then use the flux to clean off grease and dirt. after that im good to go with the soldering and it sticks like a charm. Please note that this is a brush - I dont know how to size up the brush but if you are looking to use it on very very small fiddly pieces or detailed pieces you might struggle. This however isnt a problem as you can use earbud or smaller brush to aid.Lasts very very long and it does what it says on the tin :)Thank you

Being disillusioned with so-called 'fluxless solder' I decided to go back to using proper solder with a seperate flux and I must say this product is excellent.I bought 2 jars of this, one with a brush attached to the lid (this one), the other without; but the review is good for both. It's a thick-ish paste that is easy to apply to the job I found that using a bit more rather than less resulted in a very quick and first time amalgamation of the liquid solder into the cable (in this case).A pleasure to use.

Solder ran well, cleaned up wellThe brush attachment most excellentA good buy

Used this flux for general water plumbing work on 22mm and 15mm pipe with solder ring elbows etc. It spreads on well and the brush is excellent.I notice a lot of the bad reviews are because of using on electrical boards. I do not think this would be suitable for electrical work. The description on here refers to water and gas work and i would think that accurately describes what this product is intended for.Don't forget to wipe down your pipework with a damp cloth after!

Soldeer pasta of flux.
