Really helpful and safe for my dog

I have a mini cockapoo. I am so glad I bought this instead of the dog seat. It allows him to move around, it secures him in the car, and it is a sturdy product with a heavy connector that is easy to attach his harness. For the money it is a much better buy than a doggie car seat.

Love this high quality dog seat belt. I bought 2 so my son had one for his truck, and the other for my car. My dog can still move from side window to side window to look out. The quality of the fabric and design is A++.

Easy to use. My dog will sit in his seat now and can not jump around in the car. This gives meease of mind when I'm driving the dog to the vet. Love this.

I bought this because my dog, a 45# high energy English Bull Terrier was recently fired from daycare (another dog was the culprit in the crime he was blamed for) and now needs to go to work with me.I drive a dump truck for work. We are in the truck 8-11 hours per day.Previously he hung his head out his window enough to distract me while driving (like OMG is he going to leap into this river we're crossing), and sometimes liked to crawl by my feet (no good when I'm trying to clutch and brake).Other than keeping him mainly to his seat and out of my way, this isn't a contraption that would secure him in the event of an accident. He'd probably strangle.It's basically a leash that buckles into the safety belt holder. It does have give, he's able to hop into the driver's seat when I get out of our doggy dump truck.The plastic hardware isn't stellar but it likely won't break.It does have plastic components and is thinner, I don't think it would take much for my dog to destroy it. He is closely monitored with me and I do correct him when he starts to nibble out of boredom.Its invaluable for taking him with me to work. I can see myself replacing it every 6 weeks or so. But its a fair price to work with my dog and certainly more affordable than dog daycare.It did work perfectly as far as snapping in with my old dump truck. It is handy because I can easily unbuckle it and double it as a short lead when he needs to relieve himself.My biggest gripes are the elasticity (he's a medium dog at 45#) he can stretch it to the drivers seat, that it's advertised as a sort of seat belt (seriously?) and the cheap plastic parts. In my personal vehicles, despite adjusting it to the shortest length, he still manages to get at me.My praise is that it prevents him from reaching my feet. It works with even old dump trucks. It is very affordable. It doubles as a pee leash.TLDR - provides a perimeter but doesn't offer any restraint or safety features. Its a short leash that buckles in. There are cheap components that could be chewed in about a minute without supervision.

My sil's dog loves the freedom of movement to see out the window or to lay down in the middle of the seat or even to poke her head up front to see her momma. But she's still safe. And the color is pink and easy to find -- day or night under her blanky in the backseat.

Too small for any use

Love this product, works well and had a good stretch.

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased to keep our 27kg labrador safe and secure in the car while driving. It's really simple to use. Just clip one end into the seatbelt clip and the other to your dog.We've used it several times now and it's worked great to keep our dog in place but the elasticated part gives her a little bit of leeway to move into a comfortable position. In our dog's case, she likes to have a nosy out the window and she can do that easily without being able to get to whoever is driving.The seatbelt extends from 53cm to 74cm with a plastic adjuster clip so you will need to adjust it to suit your dog. It seems well made, the stitching is strong and the swivel clip to attach to your dog rotates a full 360°. I've found it to be really good value for money.For safety reasons I would never clip the seat belt straight onto my dogs collar. We always use a harness on her when travelling and attach the belt to the back of the harness. I feel this is much safer since she cannot injure her neck if the car stops suddenly.I'm really pleased with this set belt, it's working really well for us.

Excellent value for money, and is brilliant for my dog. Very easy to clip on her harness and use in the car, and it's great knowing that she's safe in the back. This seatbelt allows her to still move around, but prevents her from jumping into the front to get to me. It's very good quality and I'm really pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended for dog owners who need to drive around with an active pooch!

onlyb issue is the puppy chewed through it on the first trip. the 10 year old did not!!
